We're in Ulaanbattar this evening for a night. This city is dramatically more like China (I suspect) than Russia. There's modern architecture, happy people and lots and lots of english. Quite a change from the past week or so.
Met up with our local guide today who seems great and was interested in how Allen Iverson is doing. Evidently basketball is huge here. Also picked up a new tour guide (Jamie) who will be taking us into China in a couple days without our current guide Erin (who couldn't get a visa).
Tomorrow we head out into for a night in a Ger (tent) camp, where I'm going to attempt to avoid riding any horses.
