Crossed over the border into Thailand. Saw some cool (and many sad) things in Cambodia including the remarkable temples at Angkor. My tour ended this morning....no additional ones for quite a long time now.
Eric, Yasmin and Dlug arrive on Saturday night for a quick one week visit. Definitely looking forward to seeing them....and staying in some nice hotels with good, clean, warm showers!!
Checked into the Sheraton in Bangkok this morning. Second hotel on the trip where they searched the taxi for bombs upon arrival and the FIRST hotel where the cute, young girl at reception walked me up to my room after check-in. And that's where that story ends.....
Thailand is country number 30 on this silly little adventure.
Next three countries: Laos, Malaysia, Singapore
